- Stay healthy!
- Don’t weigh myself at all during the entire month of April.
- Keep up with school work.
- When boot-camp ends, develop my own strength training routine.
- Up the cardio!
- When the weather is nice, spend it outside.
- Enjoy myself during my birthday, and throughout this entire month :)

YAY ME.
:)
I’m at that point where I’m convincing myself that I should just go to sleep now, and finish it tomorrow and get points off for being late, but I know I’ll absolutely regret now.
Besides I could use all the points I can get for this piece of shit paper :P
ONLY 570 WORDS LEFT. I CAN DO THIS.

Should be an interesting afternoon…
and I’ve decided that if I am only going to measure myself once a month, I’m only going to weigh myself once a month.
I am very happy with my inches lost, but it’s just not something I can see as obviously as I can with numbers decreasing on the scale.
But if I wait a whole month to weigh myself, I know there will be a good amount of loss, both inches and weight. I’m definitely doing something right if I’ve lost 12 inches, so I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been doing, and not focus on the scale.
April 1st I’ll weigh myself, and then I won’t until May 1st.
No numbers April? Anyone?
:)
Why am I seeing great results inches wise, but not losing that much weight?
Does this mean I’m doing more toning/strength training, and not enough cardio, or will the scale eventually catch up? Anyone else have a similar situation?
I reallllly need to interview 3 people for a paper I have to write!
It’s been just a little over a month since I last measured myself, and once again I was pleasantly surprised!
Bust: 35.5” (-2”)
Waist: 30” (-1.5”)
Hip: 42” (-.5”)
Thigh: 25.5” (-1”)
Calve: 14”
Arm: 11.5” (-.5”)
Stomach: 39”
Total Loss since 2/22: 5.5 inches
Total Loss since 12/19 (My official start): 12 inches
:D
It would be greatly appreciated :)
When you make the choice to take your health seriously you honor yourself to the fullest extent. You recognize the importance of YOU and you decide you are worth the time and effort that must go into it.
then go on a nice, relaxing walk with my iPod.
:)
and I had to set an alarm to go to bio review at 9. So excited……..not.
BUT AFTER I’m going hiking with some friends!
And then working a little bit.
I hope everyone has a fabulous Saturday, and gets to sleep in a lot longer than me! :)
Every time I shop, while over-weight, I always pick out all these cute clothes, try them on, and they don’t fit me, and leave feeling defeated and upset. Today, however, I went in and tried on clothes, some fit some didn’t, but either way I felt FINE. I’m not sure exactly how I got my mind to react this way, but I am so happy I did.
ALSO, I tried on this one dress, and as I was pulling it over my head I could really imagine how it would fit me (well more like NOT fit me) and I could picture it looking bad, because my mind is somewhat used to how my body used to look like, but it came over my head, and fell perfectly into place. It was both strange, exciting, and definitely a bit of a wake up call, that my body has in fact changed.
I haven’t been able to have a good shopping experience in years. This is fantastic :)
PS: Yes, I bought the dress ;) I might even post a picture of me wearing it later, if I’m feeling particularly brave!
from facebook. They’re from my absolute heaviest, and I can already see progress in where I am right now. Can’t wait till I have some ‘afters’ to compare them too :)
Well since I took some night-time cold medicine, I slept right through my alarm to workout this morning! But that’s okay, it happens! I’ll just work extra hard tomorrow :)
Had work all day, then dinner with a friend. We went to Noodles and Company (SO GOOD) and I got Japanese Pan Noodles, and asked for extra broccoli. Yum.
Then came home and blasted music and danced around my room for a bit, I forgot how much I love doing that haha!
Buttt yay tomorrow is Friday! Weekend!!! I have some hikes, and runs planned, so hopefully the weather is good!
Do you all have any fun weekend plans? :)
besttttt feeling.
My fabulous dinner :)

Small snack to get me though Pilates!

Now, shower, snack, relax, PILATES CLASS.
I love pilates. I can’t wait! :D
(ew, then I have bio lab)
Before (notice the bite mark? haha):

After, all cooked and melty:

went on my morning walk/jog, and just did some ab work. Perfect way to start the day. Now about to go make some healthy food choices :)
Did anyone else get a good workout in this morning?
but I’m still going running :)
I feel like a tween listening to this, but I can’t help but love it!

I’m taking it easy with exercise because I definitely am not up for it. I haven’t just sat on my butt though, I took an hour long walk yesterday and today, and had my swim class today, and I’m glad I did!
Tomorrow I’ll have swim class, and pilates. I hope I feel better!
What do you guys do to help you feel better when you have a cold?

My heavenly dinner. Oh my goodness this was SO delicious and filling!
New found love for broccoli! <3
Vegan, gluten-free crackers, herb flavored, with a Laughing Cow french onion cheese wedge!

Ingredients: 1/4 teaspoon olive oil, 1/2 tablespoon basis pesto, tomatoes, whole wheat pita, and chopped up mozzarella cheese stick

Steps: brush pita with olive oil (mainly around the edges), brush with pesto, slice tomatoes and place them on the pita, add some spices (I used garlic powder, sea salt, pepper), and then chopped up the cheese stick and put it on! Then oven (350 degrees) for 10ish minutes (or until cheese is bubbly and starts to brown)

After (my dad stole a slice!):

Thanks so much loves! I very much appreciate it <3
Done with swimming, now shower, and put in my pita pizza (I assembled it before I went to swim!)
Made a delicious smoothie, consisting of:
1 cup organic apple juice

and 1 cup mixed frozen fruits (strawberries, bananas, mangoes)

Final product, so simple, easy to make and yummy!

so stuffy! I skipped my bootcamp and econ class to get some much needed rest. Now off to make a smoothie! I hope today’s that really bad day of a cold, and tomorrow I feel better, especially since I just found out that my Wednesday bootcamp class was moved to tomorrow morning instead! We shall see.
If you’re looking for a nutrient-packed alternative to pasta, have a hankering for carotene, or have a 5 pound bag of carrots to use up (I fell into the ‘hey, it’s on sale!’ trap once again…I never learn), these carrot ribbon noodles are the way to go. They’d be delish dressed up with your…
when I initially made this blog I had no idea it would become such a key aspect to my weight-loss, and health journey, I just picked it off one of my favorite songs, but I think I’m going to change it to something health related just so it’s clear to the world what this is all about!
In case you all wanted to know ;)
Just sayin’
