Whole Wheat Pancakes
What youll need: 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, salt, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 cup milk (I use coconut or almond), 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar in one bowl. Mix the rest of the ingredients in another one. Gradually mix the dry into the wet. Stir until well mixed (dont over mix unless you want tough pancakes) let sit for a but and cook on a greased pan. Add any toppings and enjoy these healthy delicious pancakes!!!
Only had time to squeeze in a small workout cause it’s very busy week for me, and I have waaaay too much homework to do, but something is better than nothing!
Alternated between jumping jacks, and bodyweight exercises in my room for about 15-20 minutes. Might not sound like much, but I definitely worked up a sweat!
Came home starving! Had the rest of my tuna on a slice of rye with some garlic butter, apple slices, and peanut butter.
Brought a lunch with me, but forgot to take a picture.
Had pineapple, strawberries, pistachios, and a tuna sandwich. Also, got a soy latte to keep me going. I have some cucumbers and carrots left that I’m saving for later. Super interesting.
Trying to stay here for as long as possible to get a whole bunch done! YAY COLLEGE.
Breakfast - same as yesterday. Equally as delicious.
I used to feel meh about almond milk but now I love it! I don’t know if I could drink it plain, but it’s still so yum.
Sitting on the floor, tumblring, and having my post workout snack of pineapple, almonds, and a big glass of water.
Gonna shower and go to bed soon.
I feel like I had a perfect healthy day today, I’m in such a good mood from it!
- 30 minutes on the arc trainer
- 15 minutes HIIT on the elliptical (1 min sprint, 2 min recover)
- 1 min plank - NEED to work on this!
Took so long to trim and chop the brussels sprouts, but so worth it. Top 5 favorite veggie for sure.
